Stabilizers yes or no?

How many people use stabilizers hitches for the 5th wheels and why?

Guess I'm not understanding what a 5th wheel stabilizer hitch is? You mean a tripod?

No 5th wheel pin hitch tripod for me, will not work that well with a revolution. You can use it on the main pivot pout. JT Strong Arms on the front landing gear and rear stab jacks. Use a stair stabilization as well to assist with entry and exit.

You would have to put it under the pivot bolt at the rear, not on the hitch pin.

Learn something new everyday. I'll go out right now and move the tripod back to swivel point. Always had it on the pin.
Washed the truck yesterday, and now it is raining here on the coast of CA, where they need it badly.

We have JT Strongarms on our 8289WS and wouldn't be without them.

I subscribe to the landing gear triangulation struts theory myself. Usually outrageously priced in Canada, I found a sale a month ago for $229 on a set of JT Strongarm's on Amazon.ca with free shipping.

Only problem was they were out of stock and are only shipping now.

Unfortunately, they'll be arriving when I'm out camping for a week but fortunately DW will be here to receive them (I'm going to a place she'd hate). That's okay cause I don't need them when its just me (the DW is the one that makes the trailer shake like there's a rodeo bull ride going on in there - don't tell her I said that or I'll be living in it permanently).

Not going to be a problem mounting at the front but on the 8282WS FR chose to mount the box for the outdoor propane connection right where the strut to the rear stabilizer should properly attach - have to think on that a bit.
