***stolen truck! Please read***

My baby, my 2002 Excursion was stolen off the parking lot at 2pm today in broad, bright daylight. Hell, 3 people saw it leave and thought I was heading home early.

If anyone in the St. Louis area sees this truck, please contact the police. Thank you

Dang, that would be a hard one to miss if it drove by. Good luck on finding it. I know how much it sucks just getting broken in to (3 times so far), but to lose the whole thing would be terrible. Hope they wash it, park it, then jump off a high bridge due to their feelings of guilt. Unlikely, but one can dream...

Will keep my eyes out. Hate thieves! Was it diesel? 7.3l, 6.0l, v10? Limited? Anything added on that would definitely identify it as yours? Stickers , dents. Etc? They will probably change plates...
Sorry for all the questions, just trying to help.
Rob.

Bet his truck didn't even know it was there when attached.

They're an ideal family bumper-pull tow vehicle, especially with a Powerstroke.

It's made at a truck plant, based on a truck frame and the Feds classify it as a truck when they do the Corporate Average Fuel Economy calculations. It's a truck!

I had my first truck stolen twice, if you get it back use the opportunity to get everything fixed on it then install an alarm system. Hope everything works out for you.

I hate to hear that, it's a nice looking truck. My best suggestion for finding it is look in East St. Louis. That isn't a kick at you. That is the most likely place to look for it by now.

have you checked craigslist for any super duty/excursion parts yet? trucks being sold without title or with "title issues"?

THEY FOUND IT!

It stolen by a meth-head. He robbed a house with it, and was involved in a 1 hour long high-speed chase with the helicopters, and about 10 cop cars.

Its in impound so the evidence techs can go over it (he had a mobile meth lab in the back), but I manged to get a few pictures of it.

Absolute weirdest thing: We went to a local restaurant last night, and bumped into some friends there. They were almost done, and we chatted for a moment before we got a table. They finished up and left, and after about 5 minutes the husband rushes back in and tells me that it just when screaming up the road outside the restaurant, with 7 or 8 police cars in pursuit. The tweaker drove right past where I was having dinner. Its a mystery world, dont ya know.

Its not nearly as bad as I had thought. The drivers side got hurt the worst. front fender, both doors, mirror, and the quarter panel are all beat up. Minor crease on the passenger side, and the grey plastic moulding is broken. Grill has a chunk out of it, and the blinker is broken.

Rear tires are almost bald, Looks like he did some massive burnouts with it. Cant see the interior so I dont know what shape its in. I can tell my tomtom is missing. My good Rapid-hitch drop hitch is gone, and a cheapo non-drop one is in it place (strange...)

He didnt actually cook meth in it as it turns out. He just had all his supplies back there in a duffle bag. Cops say the K9's didnt twig on it after they pulled the duffle bag out, so it should be ok.

All in all, it coulda been much worse.
