Storage and Homeless people

Just had a friend tell me that some homeless guy climb the fence and broke in to his RV. He was sleeping in it and was using the gas stove for heat. Check mine today and walk around looking at others in storage I use and didn't see any signs of break in where I store mine. Just a reminder to check on RV while in storage.....

There is a rv dealer near by that we used to chase homeless out of all year round because they would leave the rv's open and unlocked. I left that area many years ago but still drive by and see they had not changed a thing..
In the words of baby bear.... Someone's been sleeping in my bed!

While we were at the dealership this past weekend buying our new Rockwood 8329SS, some other customers opened up the pass thru storage on a 5th wheel next to ours and a homeless man was sleeping in there.

Pretty bad when a person needs to knock on their storage door to see if it's occupied!

You, sir, win the Internet today!

If I found a homeless person sleeping in my bed in the XLR...I don't know. Selling it might be on the table.

Hey now, I'm not homeless- I own a home! I'm just letting someone else live in it.

break in warning. Friend left motor home in storage in Az...but did not lock the little garbage door under sink to outside. Some small person crawled in that way and removed what they wanted wrecking the dash removing electoral stuff...Be sure you lock that little door. It never occurred to him that someone could get in that way.

it would be bad to find someone sleeping in your camper. but I guess it would be worse to be that person desperate enough, to have to break into someones camper to find a place to sleep.

it sure does. We look at them as a nuisance... In reality it is their life and they are simply trying to live.

I've heard the same thing about people getting in through the laundry shoot on travel trailers from the front storage under it.

A while back there was a story in the paper about some people who rented an RV. When they investigated a bad smell they found a dead person in the storage compartment. Maybe it was a homeless person?
