Oh, that looks terrible! I had a camping trip planned for this week in SoCal and I cancelled it because of the storms. Now I'm glad I played it safe instead.

Yes, we were in a different area, about 100 yards from that space. The wind gusted for about 30 minutes and after 2 days of rain the trees started dropping, this was the worst of the damage, branches got a few others.
I always wondered how a camper would handle a tree hit. I must say it was better than I thought it. I still would not have wanted to be inside when it happened
That would have raised the hair on my bald head! We lived through a large tree hitting our house during a early wet snowstorm but an RV is a very different story. I am impressed that the trailer did not collapse, hope no one was hurt or killed, RV's can always be replaced.
PCV is one of our favorite campgrounds that we frequently visit our next trip is scheduled for the long Presidents Day weekend....Hopefully no one was hurt.
If there had been any occupants in the 5er, they probably wouldn't have been hurt, but with it buckled as much as it is, it might not be easy to get out through the front door!
We are heading back to Louisiana Friday, weather & road depentent!
Pretty scary.....not to get of topic, but Louisiana to California is a pretty good haul. How was the trip? Someday I want to do a trip and camp at Pismo Beach from NY
