Stove/Range Recommendation

Does anyone have a recommendation for a RV range upgrade? My DW is not pleased with the range (Suburban) that came with our Flagstaff 5th wheel. She feels the oven heat output is not consistent and tends to "boil" food rather then baking it. She also had issues with the three top burners until we modified the front burner by increasing the jet size by two sizes, the result was more BTU output with no flame lifting etc. I appreciate the help.

I fixed the problem with my oven by adding tiles to the bottom which made it heat more evenly. I think there is a thread on that on the forum try the search box in the upper corner. cost of tiles is way cheaper then a new stove.

We did the same but with a pizza stone. We bake all kinds of stuff in it.

No idea on other ovens for the OP, though.

Sea Dog I can see how that would work. Obviously you used fire tiles, how thick are they, 1/4 inch? Also are they typical 4" X 4" tiles? I'll search for the thread, thank you for the reply.

I actually used large ceramic tiles I had in my shop aprox 1/4 in. they have not cracked I figured they took the heat of baking during MFG the oven wouldn't be much different. won't hurt to try if it doesn't work you can always buy a new stove.
