Remember, the sooner you buy it, the longer you'll enjoy it - if you buy the right one. So, take your time and really look around. Make sure this is the best trailer for you. We bought ours 4 years ago after looking for 3 years. Found the right one for us (Windjammer - front kitchen) and we could pull it with our present truck, now in its 20th year (only pulls the trailer, so it still looks and runs like new). Main takeaway, choose carefully, but, when you find it, don't be afraid to buy it. Then enjoy! (although it sounds like you have been trailering for a while anyway) You may want to look into the Signature Series as well. We almost bought one of those. I tell my photography students buying an expensive camera to make a list with one column that has how much you want to pay (can afford, etc.) and one column with how you want to use it (weekends, multi weeks, camp with grandchildren, children, etc., full time, snowbird time, etc.) and put the wants in the order of what you want or do most with it to the least. Here you may want to hold the list and keep revising it a bit before shopping. Make copies of the list and bring it to a number of dealers and see what they have to fill the bill. Make notes on prices/models/etc., check out the repair facilities so you are satisfied they can fix what you buy, etc. Make sure you hit at least 3 or 4 dealers (going to a show helps here - like you did). When you find just the right one, buy it. Pay cash if you are retired, or at least encumber the funds in your account to make payments. Then you won't get any surprises in the money department. It will still take a bit of time to shake it down, so plan for that as well. Then have fun with it!

On the way to pick up our 2008 Starcraft from storage this spring (here's a picture from the previous summer).

Dawn says, "Let's stop in at the dealer next door and look at their used inventory. We're just looking. We're not buying anything." Two weeks later...

What can I say? It pushed all the right buttons. Plus, as my Dad told me a little over 21 years ago...

Happy wife... happy life!

Went to a Goshen rally with a brand new Chev. 1500 & a 1 1/2 yr old TT. DW went looking at the new Wildcats and she said if we could ever get another RV, this would be it. Well the short of the story: 6 months later a new Wildcat 327ck & a new GMC 2500 Duramax. That's the last trip to Goshen I'll make.

Bought from Chesaco years ago and would never do again. Dealer follow up wasn't good and getting any service done was next to impossible even with appointments.

Went down in flames.

... to be expected when you're flying against the Red Baron.
Picking up new Roo 21SS in a couple weeks.
Don't know if that will be with a new TV or not.

I was surprised to see that the tire capacity alone is greater than the trailer GVW. And the max speed is listed as 75, not 65 as I've come to expect.

Funny,
I can already hear those words echoing down from the future: "Dear, don't you think a trailer like THAT ONE will better suit our lifestyle?".

Someone needs to build one like this.

All you need to do is add more blocks...

X many! I totally agree with you! It's asinine to believe parents should enrich their brats! I earned the money, so why can't they! Put down the electronic gadgets and get a life!!!!!!!!!!!!!
