Same wife story here. Started out looking at a "retirement plan" 2015 Sun Valley 283BHLTD. By the time she was done, we were signing for a 2016 Wildcat 323RBX at more than twice the price. No regrets.

Our original budget was 5k for a used TT. These were all crap. Then we considered 10k...still crappy for what we wanted. We ended up spending almost 20k for a used 5er.

Stupid me....I let DW read the posts in this thread....she's now talking about a Front Living rm 5er and upgrading to a duramax...retirement is fun but expensive...you only go around once she said...can't wait to see what next season brings
Happy Trails

You are so right about what it costs to stay out of the crap range. Wife is not keen on living in someone else's throw backs, so fresh and new it had to be. What sold her on the 323RBX was 2 full baths and a rear/back door off the bunk house for our grandson nd his friends. Me? I like the outside kitchen with enough room for a couple of cases of alcoholic beverages.

PS On our first snowbird trip to Arizona DW found a park model in a resort for sale that she had to have. You can guess the rest of the story.
