We stayed at Liberty rv park over on Jersey side have tour buses and 4 or 5 blocks to subway station. Pretty nice.. believe it was Jersey City easy to get with tow.

I didn't realize that Liberty Harbor had sewer hookups. I thought they were water + electric only.

Be sure to look at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hundson, NY. It is a couple to park just north of the Tappan Zee Bridge. Easy access to the trains to NYC. Big rig friendly, electric/water hookups. Also a great day trip to Poughkeepsie where there is a pedestrian bridge across the Hudson River.

The site I had there was water & sewer only. Dump station was over in the corner. Good place to stay though -close to subway & ferry

We stayed in Liberty RV Park last summer. Parking lot, but as close to the city as you're going to get. We were in the City all day and late every evening. No problems walking to metro into city and back. There is only one dump station, we left early on our departure date and only had one in front of us to use it.

One consideration might be to park your rv in the park and grab a hotel in the city.
