Suggestions for spartan first journey?

Two weeks from now we will be flying from Wenatchee to south of Fort Worth to pick up "Bert" and bring him home. We will be stopping for a short visit with my elderly mother in Deming, NM, but other than that, without a dingy or many of the necessary routine supplies, we will be making a speed run home. We are envisioning paper plates and microwave meals.

We are scheduled to get a detailed briefing by MHS, and then overnight in their campground before we unleash the kraken and head home. I'm just wondering what basic supplies would be recommended for such a spartan first trip?

Flying to pick up is an interesting dilemma. All of the disposable stuff can be easily bought in Texas.

I would have to have my pillow and blanket! Does your salesperson love ya enough to accept a box for you the day before the pickup, with some linens and a few other things?
