Super fast Sable

I was driving home grime our fourth weekend Monday and was doing my normal 65 mpg on 131 south. Light traffic and I see ya fifth wheel coming fast. It was a late model Sable twin axel pulled by a ram 3/4 ton diesel I think. Anyway hi blew by me like I was going backwards. Had to be doing 85. I don't mind being passed I got over that a long time ago. I was worried about the family in the truck. Their was so much talk about tires blowing out and failing badly. If he's a member maybe he will slow down for his kids and mine for that matter. He didn't tic me off or anything like that just worried about their safety.

Doubt he's a FRF member...with all the postings here on China bomb tires and safe trailering speeds, doubt he would be breaking our rules...LOL

It's not, but sounds like 2 of my brother in laws. They're clueless on what can happen. Even after a few blow outs. Still run 80 plus. Just plain stupid and not worth the risk. 70 is my tops, and that's only because we're running the GY G614 LT tires. Otherwise it'd be slower.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.

It's likely part of the camping crowd that only gets out on the holiday weekends. I learned about them years ago on the lakes. The boat ramps were always hectic and full of people that only get out a few times a year, and it shows. I have found the larger campgrounds to be about the same, and that is the reason we rarely camp on a holiday weekend.

Where are the Speed Police? I was camping next to a 39 foot toy hauler. He had a 3/4 ton Chevy diesel as a TV. Can't possibly be enough truck for that triple axle 5th wheel. I asked how it towed and he said Great, but fuel mileage was only 6-7 mpg. Then he's says perhaps the poor mileage was due to the 80-85 mph he ran coming from FL.
Hope I am never on the same road with him!!!

It's easy just you can say anything. It's the internet so it must be true. Sorry I have fat fingers and a slow mind that never catches stuff like that. I meant MPH but the G and H are right next to each other.

Dont feel bad, the Atlanta Jornal Constitution, a newspaper that has college educated editors and journalists reported on Sunday that Matt Kenseth said that cars qualifying at Daytona were doing 80 mpg.

So I could enter my Buick and have a chance? Cool.
Not collage educated and slept my way through High School. Mostly educated in the Marines. I can still field strip a M16 or a 1911 in seconds. It hasn't come in handy yet. I care about grammar but I don't get all uptight about it. I try to get my thoughts conveyed and mostly fight with Apple for the correct spelling then my phone changes it when I'm not looking.
