My families thoughts and prayers to those in the mix with this superstorm. We pray everyone is safe.

Just did a quick walk around and looks like we dodged a bullet.
I hope all forum members in the storm's path were so lucky.

Rode out the storm on my Coast Guard cutter in Philadelphia. It was a bumpy night but now the work starts.

Prayers and $.50 will get you a cup of coffee.

Loved Gov. Christie's advice - "don't do anything stupid". Refreshing!

X3

I was just reading about some of the aftermaths from the storm, and copied the following paragraph. I didn't know there were vehicles that had this feature.

"Reggie Thomas, a maintenance supervisor at a prison located within striking distance of the overflowing Hudson River, emerged from an overnight shift there, a toothbrush in his front pocket, to find his 2011 Honda with its windows down and a foot of water inside. The windows automatically go down when the car is submerged to free drivers. It left his car with a foot of water inside, and unable to start."
