Surveyor 18T

Hi there,

I am new to this forum and to trailers!

I have tried to search the above trailer but my search isn't working!

We are looking at a 2007 18T Surveyor and need help and opinions!

What are the mattresses like? I couldn't see them as the trailer was shut, but it is very important to us.

Any likes or dislikes about this trailer?

Thanks a ton!

Carla

to FRF. Glad to have you here.

I know nothing about the 18T per-se, but the mattresses in rv's are a subject to interpretation. Some people like them and some people (my DW and I for two) hate them. Most people enhance theirs by adding meemory foam or something else to them to make them comfortable. Don't let the mattress scare you off. You can always add ro change it to something you like.

are you sure that's the model number? it doesn't show up as a current model on FR's website.
the mattresses are pretty much the same as most hybrids, except the new Thermarest ones.
basic foam mattresses like Jayco's, Starcraft's, Coyotes', Roo's, Shamrock's and so on.
the Surveyor is a well-liked brand. they have their own factory and advertise as a better built trailer than other brands.
is it a hybrid with the fold out canvas bunk ends?

Thanks for your replies.

It is a 2007 and so it doesn't show up on the website anymore. A 19ft one has replaced it but I don't have that model number.

It is a hybrid that pops out at either end.

We were also looking at a 2009 Jayco and it has memory foam mattresses and that is why I was curious about the matresses in Surveyors.

Thanks so much for the link...it is good to know that one end is a double bed and the other is a queen bed.

I have called the dealership and asked them to bring it indoors and open it up so that we can see the whole thing.

Thanks again for everyone's replies.

We are so new to this and there is so much info out there...I can't even count how many trailers we have seen now!
