SURVEYOR SP295 water pump issues

We have a 2013 Surveyor SP295 that has had nothing but problems with the water pump.
First the pump would never build enough pressure to take shower. The pressure would be great for like 30 seconds and then go to a slow flow.
Then the pump all of sudden would keep running and never stop.
I bought new pump and put it in and the same problem happened.
I noticed on the pump instructions that the pump should only be max of 6 feet from the water tank. The pump is like 12feet from water tank.

Anyone know how I can fix the problem?

It almost sounds like you might have a leak if it's doing that with two different pumps...
Here's a way you could check....get an adapter that will give you some sort of air connection at the pressurized water inlet (where you would connect the white hose) They sell one that goes to a bike pump, and one that goes to an air compressor. Put about 30-40 psi of air in the water system with a gauge on it (air compressors have gauges built into them, some bike pumps do too) and check the pressure periodically. If the system loses pressure after even a few hours, you have a leak. Meaning you'll have to physically look over as much of you plumbing system you can to find it.

You could also check all of your filters, and make sure the sediment filter pre-pump is clean. A starved pump will run all the time too

There may be an air leak on the line supplying water to the pump. Any air in the system and the pump will not be able to build up enough pressure to shut off.

Hi if the pump turns on and off without any water use that means that your system won't maintain pressure and you have a leak somewhere.
