Tan Propane Tank Cover
Looking to replace my white hard dual propane tank cover with one that is tan. I seen a couple of travel trailers have these but can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one of these?? My travel trailer and tow vehicle have tan stripping in both of them and looking to dress up the trailer a little.

Krylon plastic spray paint!!!!!
Available at Wally word and many other places.
FYI- my white LP cover got stained and I could not get it clean
even with bleach. I spray painted it white with the cheapest
stuff I could get and it looks fine. It is not peeling any after 6
months.
Krylon is good stuff and will likely cover with less coats than the
cheap stuff.

The Krylon paint for plastics is labeled Fusion. Cans are a light color green. I can honestly tell you it works real well. Just watch the breeze when you paint, it floats through the air very easily.

Available at Walmart, HD and Lowes.

Were the tank covers you saw, maybe an Off-White color? Looked Tan? Colonial White? Ivory? Just asking.

As others have stated, the Krylon Fusion is a good paint. Two cans are less expencive than a new cover.

I will check with a Surveyor Dealer as the tank covers were hard plastic and didn't look like they were painted. Thanks for suggestions and the use of Krylon paint. Had no clue..

The Surveyor tank color is more like a bronze instead of a tan.
Here is my unit:

I'm just thinking with all the brown in my striping that the tank color bronze would show a little better

The new hard cover is likely gonna cost $35-40.
You can paint it for less than $10 with the good stuff. (Krylon)
If you change your mind, you can paint it again and still be
half the cost of a new cover....... my 2¢

EastlakeRoo, the Surveyor tank cover should be a pretty close match to the decals and fenders of your Roo. Or you can do as KyDan says, and maybe get a closer match with some plastic paint.

Krylon Fusion, great stuff. Had to repaint the plastic shutters on my house. I bought mine at Wal-Mart. Lowe's does not carry Krylon, but they do have there own brand for plastics.
