Tandem bike rack for 2" receiver

I can't find anything for a tandem bike rack using a 2" receiver. Has anyone seen or used one? I have a rooftop tandem bike carrier but I'm looking for something to mount on the back of my MH (toadless).

Thanks!

Do you mean "tandem" as it two bikes, or a bicycle built for two?

Either way, most bike racks fit BOTH 1-1/4" and 2" receivers. My yakima is a great example.

If it's a bicycle built for two, THIS lets you choose which hitch you have.

In all seriousness:

You likely aren't finding anything for a trailer hitch as a tandem bike is a lot longer than your average car or truck is wide. Just a quick google search, tandem bicycles are 8' to 8'6" long. Being that your average SUV or truck is about 6' wide, the bike's length would overhang either side of the car by 12+"

And, if it's over 8'6", it is wider than the law allows.

Think of carrying standard 8' lumber sideways on your truck...

Okay, I provided a link... which found one that will work.

But if you just Google it, hundreds pop up. They're not difficult to find.

Make sure that you check the fine print. Many bike racks aren't warranted for use on the back of an RV.

I've carried my Cannondale Tandem on a Yakima SwingDaddy on the back of my SUV. If you take the front tire off, it's narrower than the mirrors on my truck. If you're carrying it on the RV, you would not need the swinging, hitch-mount carrier (the standard ones are much cheaper). I would recommend two people to get the thing on the rack - even my aluminum frame gets pretty hard to handle...

Tandem bike rack

I have a Hitch Rider which has 2 adapters with it and you can put on a 2" receiver. this this there website and it has locks for the hitch and a cable lock for the bike. This rack will swing down and they have many models on the website.

My neighbor had one something like this, but I don't where he got it or who made it.

I have also carried my Cannondale tandem on a Yakima swing daddy rack on the back of my Grand Cherokee taking off the front wheel. In addition, I have carried it on the back of my motor home on a swagman rack and don’t have to take off the front wheel.
