TapaTalk?

I was looking for a thread like this and was surprised one did not exist on the Forum!

I am planning on moving to a iPad Pro as my primary means of computing and have been looking at various apps.

I noticed on the app store that there is a TapaTalk and a TapaTalk Pro. It seems the big difference between the two is the "Pro" version is just for Forum Browsing and the TapaTalk app is for browsing and custom content creation.

TapaTalk is "free" (with ads which I hate) and the Pro Version is $2.99. Now my question is, does the pro version remove the ads?

I also noticed that TapaTalk has a subscription option - some of which are quite expensive!

So Community...advice please!

Tapatalk is the only one I use, I have the free version, just scroll past the ads

I use free Tapatalk on my iPhone along with a couple of other connection options. I use Adblock Mobile which blocks many ads on Tapatalk.

The Android version offers monthly, yearly or a one time, lifetime subscription for $15.
If you use it a lot, and for other forums, the $15 is worth it to not have to scroll past ads.

Also, again not knowing about the Apple version, but the green Forest River Android app is now an exact clone of the Tapatalk app. It is free too.
