We gave up

After many years using a Keurig, and the extra expense, we gave the unit away and now have a regular coffee pot. We even tried the self fill Keurig cups. We drink way too much coffee. The only place I have seen Tassimo is at bed bath and beyond. If Amazon gets its way, you can order them and have the drone deliver!

Love the Keurigs. Mine are a few years old. Looked at a couple in Walmart the other day. Just like mine but mostly made of junky-feeling plastic now.

Or you could buy a Presto MyJo coffee press. See link: https://youtu.be/SK_UUXDGzuU
So if you run out of Tassimo coffee disc you could then go and buy the Keurig pods.

A friend had a tassimo and I have 2 kuerigs. I have still not found a coffee that I really enjoy in kuerig. After 4 years and dozens of brews, brands and flavors, still not happy with the kuerig. My friend has made me coffees in his a few times and each time it was a flavorful, enjoyable coffee. My kuerigs were gifts, but if I were buying I'd get the tassimo.

Depends on what flavor you like. I love the cafe caramel and the cafe mocha. The cafe mocha tastes like hot cocoa.

You could also grind your own beans and put them in the refillable k cup

One other major difference that I didn't point out earlier is that the Tassimo discs are specifically coded and read by the machine to deliver the right amount of water at the correct temp specific to the coffee being brewed. Keurig can't do that. It's either small, medium or large.

We like the Kuerigs. We have one at home and a small one on the camper.

I have a tassimo in the camper (great compact size that we bought years ago. I have purchased two Keuring makers since for home and office. I call the Tassimo the "beta player" and Keuring the "VHS" player. Better quality as others have mentioned with the Tassimo (and Beta) but far more availability with Keuring (aka VHS). I buy Tassimo in bulk with their store coupons (Bed Bath and Beyond). I believe Walmart or Meijer carried Tassimo not long ago but not sure about recent stock.

Have one in the house and my 5er, love them. I also have the replacement basket for both so I can use any ground coffee. I like 8 o'clock but that is my choice. By changing the amount of grounds you put in the basket you can make it stronger or weaker, what ever way you want. And ground coffee is much cheaper than K cups. I always have some handy but normally use the basket.
