Not the entire state,but many areas that were labeled "severe" before the recent rains are now removed from that rating.

Several area lakes in the DFW area were closed for Memorial Day due to overflow conditions.

And of course,let's pray for those people in the Houston area.

I am sure the water was needed but MY GOD did it come down too much too soon.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims.

No one tells Mother Nature what to do or how to do it as you probably learned from your past winters snowfall.

California is in a well publicized drought. When the correction happens, it most likely will happen quickly.
