Pitching camp at Holland State Park in Holland MI. Two campgrounds, one partially wooded and 2 minutes from from the beach, and another at the beach--some sites with full (water, sewer, electric) which is quite unusual for Michigan state parks. Sun & sand, here we come!

We are making our "annual" trip to Pleasant View Recreation in Van Buren, Ohio. My DW and I met there in 1987. My parents had a seasonal site there and her parents were weekending there with relatives and the rest is history. We go back every year on the 4th to "celebrate the anniversary". If anyone is coming to the Tadpole rally I can fill you in on the whole car wreck story that goes with this.

Lake of the Ozarks near Camdenton, MO. Friday afternoon until sometime Monday. Hope to get home in time to hear our friend's band play at the community amphitheater before the big fireworks show at the park. Everyone have a safe holiday!

Acableguy06 - sometimes it just nice to get away from home and being not too far away can make it a bit easier time wise. Great weekend getaway as you had mentioned.

I will be staying at a local campground (Cottonwood) in Riverside California that I really like that has nice green grass, big level concrete pads, water play area and a great view of the city's fireworks from the campsites. I might even check out the lake this time.

We'll be at Branson, Missouri watching fireworks out on the lake on the pontoon. Kimberling City has fireworks July 2nd by the bridge, and July 3rd at Chateau On The Lake. We're staying at Table Rock State Park campground which has been booked for months. Hope to do some fishing before the fireworks. Should be fun as always.

We are going down to State College Pa. We have some friends that live there and work at Penn State. We are planning on going to the 4th of July celebration at Penn State in Beaver Stadium.

It should automatically be at least a family of 5. I really don't think that my 5 year old should make the campsite more expensive!

We'll be rolling into Glen, NH on the 4th. Does anyone know of any 4th of July activities near there?
