One ounce (by weight) of raw popcorn will make approximately 32 ounces (or one quart) of popped popcorn.

How much popcorn will a 50# bag of popcorn seed make?

Once 50# bag will yield approximately 800 – 1 ounce servings.

How much popcorn will one case of 6 ounce popcorn kits make?

About 216 – 1 ounce servings.

Long Time fan of Jiffy Pop! IMHO it's the best solution for camping. Great corn and easy cleanup

IS AN ORIGINAL COMMERCIAL --- FOLLOWED BY HOW TO MAKE IT WITHOUT BURNING IT.
I REMEMBER MY DAD BURNING IT (IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER) SO BADLY HE SET OFF THE SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE HOUSE AND HAD TO OPEN ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS. IT WAS -20ISH OUT AND WE DARN NEAR FROZE.
BUT HE ATE THE BURNT POPCORN TO SHOW US IT WAS STILL GOOD.

X3. But after seeing the Whirley Pop on here, the wife just might get 1 of those for Christmas.

The big complaint I have with Jiffy Pop is that it has a relatively short shelf life.

When checking out at the store, some younger clerks will ask "what is that".
