The MRimmer Update - NOT A GOOD ONE

Several close friends thought I should make my siituation public so here it goes.

Man what a year, June 30 lose job then start a GREAT career on Sept 3 we get to relocate to a wonderfull place we truly love, Wife gets to retire from her job and we sold the house in Southaven then it goes down hill again.

From July to date I have lost just over 30 pounds and after living in the camper (2 months) during the move I thought it was just not eating right and stress trying to get things done for work/move/and all that. I felt good and no signs that something was wrong.

Glennette moved down 1 month ago today with all we own and that weekend I got VERY sick. I actually got the worst on the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Well Tuesday 12/16/2008 I was diagnosed with Rectal Cancer. Doc says this has been in my system for about 1 and 1/2 years and surgery MUST happen. My tumor is in the worst possible place for surgery at this time and I will start chemo and radiation next Tuesday in hopes to shrink the tumor to a point he can perform a successful surgey that will allow me to lead a normal life down the road.

Many have asked about my spirit and I can simply say at first this was a HUGH SHOCK.

THIS WILL NOT GET ME DOWN!!!! I WILL WIN!!!!

Glennette and I do ask to be added to prayer list as we know we will have some bad days ahead but friends, willpower and most of all the lord will guide us down this rough road.

Mike, you will conquer this and we will all be praying for you as much as humanly possible. You are strong and can do it. We are all pulling for you and we know you will come through this. YOU WILL PREVAIL.

Who knows...perhaps God moved you here to be under the care of a certain doctor you would never have seen otherwise.

And for the rest of you...go get that awful colonoscopy. Be a MAN, wear the GOWN!

Mike, I am so sorry to hear about the bad news. Our hearts and prayers go out to you. Stay strong, I fell deep in my heart that you will get over this terrible ordeal and continue on with a great life. Possitive out look is part of the medication. RADIO you are right, everyone out there needs to have a colonoscopy. I had one at 51 years old and now I am due again

For those of you who are afaraid, there nothing to it, It's the prep that is the issue. The Doc's say that if you are a white male a colonoscopy is recommended at age 50 and if there is no problem then every 5 years, if you are a black male, the Doc's say it is recommended at 45 years of age. From the way it looks with our good friend Mike if you are between 45 and 50 this might be a good time to have a colonoscopy NOW. On the news last night the topic came up about colonoscopies, they said that the right side of the colon was the hardest to reach because of the location and this is where it shows up. Mike, I as everyone else is pulling for you.

Mike, I have been going through something very similar for the last 1.5 years, and if you willl excuse the pun, I am kicking it's ass, and if I can do it I know for god dam sure you can. You can do this, trust me.

I do wonder what will become of
FRF should you become unable to continue as Admin?

Just to let all know as far as the site.

I have set the server bill on auto pay so we will not get cut off if I am down and forget to pay it.

Aintgotnun has the keys to EVERYTHING/ALL sites on the server that I have.

All admins and mods have my phone numbers if all else fails.
