The "Oh no...I forgot" Thread!!

Post stuff you forgot to bring on your current camping trip.

We are in day #2 of 4 at Chatfield State Park (just north of Castle Rock) and, so far, we forgot our little Shark vacuum and I totally forgot to pick up a female-to-female hose adaptor for the extra gray tank sewer. Dumby!! Oh and we forgot ketchup and mustard but we have mayo.

The extra 30 Amp extension cord so my wife could use the storage under the dinette. No biggie until after setup, I was 6' short of the pedestal. You know the rest of the story. Good times right there!
The extra cord is already in the truck.

I sold my old camper last this winter and I cleaned enough stuff out of there to fill my basement. My first trip out in my new camper this year, I realized I was missing a ton of things. Day started with no coffee filters and to top that off, no coffee mugs. the red solo cup is not designed for hot beverages. No sharp knives, no hammer for rug stakes, and no stinky slinky. Now I'm stocked back up and ready to roll.

We forget something every trip. We forgot breakfast meats, coffee, creamer, dogs (at home with the adult kid but they were supposed to go too) Warm clothes, eggs, we might forget a lot of stuff but we have fun improvising.

First trip to a state park, not realizing there weren't water hook ups and didn't notice the spigots every so often to fill fresh water tanks. Well, we level the trailer, un hook the truck, pull out the awning, etc..etc... where's the water hook up?
Then I notice the spigots, and fortunately one is just across the street. but we didn't have enough hose to reach, so we went to walmart bought another 50' hose and filled up the tanks.

This is a true story, you are free to ask wife if you see her at FROG. We where camping in FL and where going out for dinner when I got in the truck, seeing the dog in her seat beside me and of course not thinking just doing I pulled out and drive to dinner. As I got out of the truck I noticed something was missing I had left the wife at the RV. But that was not he worst part she was locked out of the
RV and it was cool and raining. Guess who caught %^%$ for several days with lots of laughs.

DW had gotten into the trailer, without my knowledge, when we stopped and I drove off and forgot to check for her till 1/2 a mile down the road. Don't even ask about the time I forgot her at the dump. Oh boy was I in trouble!!!!!

Not current, but most major...

Couple of summers ago we went on a camping trip to a new place just over 2 hours away. We remembered the amp, the amp stand, the music, the guitar chair...but forgot the guitar! I jumped in the toad and drove back home with the dogs to get it while hubby went for a bike ride. Craziest first day of a camping trip ever, but we can't be out there without our music!

First started with our trailer about 13 years ago and forgot our 12 volt adapter and really worried about it all the way to the campground before I realized I wouldn't need it as we were in a 30 amp site.
