There she went- back to the factory

Just watched the dirtiest thing - my camper just hitched up with another guy and another truck for her long lonely trip home.

I pass the transport guys and gals on the freeway all the time, do not recall the last one that passed me.
I know some are right between 60-65 and a few are between 55-60.
Most seem to do a good job.

The one we talked to that pulled from Goshen to Tom Johnson's in Concord said he set the cruise at 75 and never had any problems. Don't know if he was bragging or stating the fact. He was pulling with a 2012 1T Dura max dually, beautiful truck and very quiet.

It's ok- based on the load tables and that I just topped the tires up to max, he can run up to 82mph.

I really hope for your sake, he stays at or below the posted speed limit. Remember the trials and tribulations you endured in changing those tires.

I feel some of your pain, Doug.
My wife actually cried when the wrecker hauled off our trailer to the insurance salvage pool in July. What made it worse was we didnt know what we were going to do, if we would get another camper or a lake house. Kinda had a camper sized empty spot in our life.

So true! But I did use it as a learning experience and jacked up one of the wheels after that when I had some concerns about one of the new tires. It was nice to have the confidence to do it- and that's what these forum are for!

I must have missed it somewhere! What was the problem with your unit that it had to be sent back to the factory?

I see hundreds of RV transports running I69 in MI and never, ever have I been passed, and I sit at 70mph. It is the gateway into canada and they buy lots of campers

That was many threads ago. I'm a little sad that I'm not the focal point of your forum life, though!

What ultimately sent it back is the one bunkhouse slide is getting stuck on the way out and something is gouging the underside of it as it goes. Though, I now have a whole list taped to the counter because my dealer stopped working on it once the determination was made to send it back. I'm more than a little disappointed in them for it (plus/though, what they did fix was pretty poorly done).
