Thetford Smart Tote

I think we have a tendency to be more vocal about negative opinions, so I thought I would give some positive recognition to a company. I bought an 18 gallon Thetford Smart Tote in November. I used it once and dropped it due to my bad back while trying to lift it off of my SUV. A ring washer broke that holds the front caster wheel assembly in the body of the tank. I called Thetford today to try to buy a replacement part. I was dreading the thought of calling a large corporation and being sent around the globe trying to find someone that understood what I needed. To my surprise, I spoke to a human within seconds. After trying to purchase the part, he said I shouldn't have to pay for it and transferred me to warranty. That person knew exactly what I was talking about too and within about 2 minutes I had a entire new wheel assembly on its way to my house for free.

Both people I spoke to were very courteous and professional and I am thoroughly impressed with Thetford. I also like their Smart Totes, and I believe they have earned a customer for a very long time.
