That you'll still enjoy yourself after a trip where:

1) You arrived in the dark
2) Got situated, leveled and wife was putting slides out when you *then* found out your site didn't have water
3) You realized you didn't put any water into your fresh water tank like you always do
4) You realized your water hoses were much too short to reach the neighbor's site
5) After buying 2 new 25' hoses (for a total of 100' now), you turned water on to find a leak at a sink
6) And then a leak at a toilet
7) And then the outdoor shower knob came off in your hand
8) And then a leak at the water filter and another behind the black tank flush connection
9) Due to numbers 2, 3 and then 6- you flushed your toilet with a jug of water for 3 days
10) Ran out of propane in the middle of the night (again. 3rd time in my RV'ing career now)

The good that matches the campground videos- we spent the week together as family, had friends and family come visit us at the campground, even camped next to my wife's BFF and the kid's "aunt", played, swam, walked, Easter Egg hunted, and on and on. Loved it.

RUN, don't walk to your computer and go to amazon and search for "Camco Rhinoflex" At least buy the 15' hose kit - the other accessories as good to have too but anything less than a rhinoflex on a blackwater line and I'm afraid I'd be packing a Level 4 decon suit

It never fails that the day you leave to go to the campground you will get stuck in some sort of a traffic jam!!!! Happens to me every time. The commercials always should the family in the vehicle smiling & laughing then when they pan around the vehicle there is wide open road in both directions. I wish! Around central PA, if you leave on a Friday after 3:00 you WILL get stuck in traffic on I81-I83 for 10 miles. One trip last year it took us almost an hour to go a few miles to the next exit.

Even our trip this past weekend I was stuck in traffic on I81 because of construction! There is no way for me to avoid it. My wife is a teacher and can't leave until 3:30 unless she takes a half day.

It's odd how the things that went wrong and infuriated you that when you look back years later, you laugh about it and that is always what you remember from that trip.

"What do you mean, I thought ALL your sites backed onto the lake?".
And what time should I expect the wildlife to prance by my site?
