Lol. I had one of these break our last trip. New one uses a crimped clamp....no more screws to shake loose.

My $25 DIY Emergency Roadside Kit consisting of 4 collapsible reflective triangles and 2 plastic yellow reflective vests (the kind road construction crews wear). I bought these on Amazon (I think it was about $20 or so altogether). I put the 2 plastic vests and the 4 collapsible triangles in a small trash bag that I was able to wrap around the stuff inside. This DIY kit is about 15" long, 5" in diameter and fits neatly slipped under the drivers seat in my truck. If I ever have a nite time emergency pull off, my hope is other drivers can see us.

I carry most of the things mentioned already. However I carry a set of wheel bearing that have already been packed with grease and a spare hub with packed bearings, races and seals already installed.

As a Marine and a former Peace Officer (POST certified), there is NO material thing that is worth taking a persons life.
If they want it, TAKE IT, unless they threaten my or my wife's life, there is no reason to pull my weapon.
IF I do pull my weapon, I can say without any question these people will die.
I haven't pulled my weapon in over 20 years and and I am very happy for that and haven't had anything taken from me.
Until you do actually KILL someone, it is all just BS about what you will do.
Give them what they want and let the insurance pay you back.
Just my opinion.
