If anyone's interested, you can watch the trains from your sofa here:

If you train guys are ever down south, the NC Transportation Museum has one of the only working roundhouses still around, plus lots of trains and other stuff. In Spencer, NC. Nice campground very nearby: Cross Winds in Linwood, NC.

Will have to keep that in mind, the grandson would enjoy. The Virginia Transportation Museum is Ok but it is nice to see the 611 there when it is not running excursions. The PA museum in Strausburg is nice as well.

I got to go in the roundhouse in the old N & W shops in Roanoke VA but it is not open to the public it is owned by Norfolk and Southern.

it hurts a lot more when you hit a turkey while riding a motorcycle
Believe me been there
then the ambulance
then the hospital
I have since broadened my field of view to watch the ditch's and surroundings more

I passed a dozen or so of these little fivers going to Maine last week, and then saw about another dozen or so in the KOA in Freeport when we were there.
Compared to today's fivers, these could fit in them

Saw this in what was once an RV Park in Saratoga, Wyoming this morning while out for a walk. Reminds me of the Long Long Trailer. They made some huge travel trailer's back then. Looks like it would way a lot.

That kind of looks like an old house trailer to me more than an RV type. Pretty cool though, I like seeing the vintage trailers.

We used this until last Oct. Served us well for over 21 years. Only had to take back to the dealer once. Not like the new Shockwave.

21 years. I'd say it doesn't owe you anything!

This was also the result of a turkey collision vs Chevy hood traveling 75mph. I can assure you it makes for a real messy windshield until you empty a full windshield washer container trying to clean it.

Wow. Last month I was rolling down the west side of Wolf Creek pass when a turkey flew right by my windshield. Fortunately, he was a smaller bird, I was only going about 35 and he cleared the windshield by about six inches...
