Pismo Coast Village RV Park in Pismo Beach, California. They have a great vintage trailer rally every year that they claim is the largest around. Over 300 vintage trailers this year.

Anyway, this guy has obviously been there for a while, everything on the site was painted to match, trailer, shed, golf cart,... During the required camp tour, guide said they had to take down a bunch of trees a few years back due to ash borers. This guy had them leave the stumps long and used them to build a deck

And if I can tell from the picture this classy guy is flying the confederate battle flag as well. Better that you didn't have to become his neighbor.

Not gonna get into the politics or argue about what is currently going on concerning any memorials to the confederacy. But, I will say that this current climate of any support one might show or have shown to the confederate cause is purely racism is often incorrect. I don't personally choose to display anything of that nature but I don't presume to know the heart of one that does, either. There is an older gentleman that goes to my church that regularly wears a confederate flag hat. He's married to a woman that has a child from a previous marriage to an African American. He attends my Sunday school class that is taught by a black man and the two are very close. Obviously racism isn't his motivation. He is also a veteran and served his country proudly under the American flag for many years. Was actually part of an elite team and was seriously wounded on a mission. I think a lot of what we "know" about certain issues may often be very inaccurate. As Reagan said "....it's not that they're ignorant, it's just that they know so much that isn't so."

Edit: Just to be clear... MOST people probably do have racism as their motivation or have racist tendencies when choosing to do something like fly the confederate flag. So, you're right in that you're most likely better off not being neighbors with someone like that. Just wanting to point out that this is not ALWAYS the case.

Let's not jump to any conclusions.
A picture is worth a thousand words... but what good are those words if it's all speculation.
