I think that is what was called a Renault Rixon, or something close to that. Forget when they were made but not many made it to the states.

Not gonna say who it was (that’s up to him) but one of our members pulled into
BamaGanza today with this minor problem.

By the presence of the TPMS sensor, I take it that was an instantaneous failure?

Looks like what I experienced Sat. on I70 in Maryland plus I now need new fender skirt. First blow out in almost 20 years. DD following said it looked scary.

I've just got to comment. I grew up in Cortez, and thanks to Mesa Verde they get lots of international tourists.

Back in the '80's I saw one of those colossal 4x4 truck rigs from Germany. IIRC it was on a MAN chassis. It was in the Safeway parking lot, long before Walmart came to town...

Also, In the 60s - 70s there was a company that made a front-wheel-drive Class-A with rear entry called the Cortez. They used to have rallies in Cortez in the summer. Oddity. I think it used a Grand Torino engine and transaxle.

It is always in the same spot at OL all summer long it seems! I was there for 10 days last year and the golf cart was parked under the awning and it was never moved. Never saw anyone outside either.

This year I saw them outside allot.

It is a swamp cooler or an evaporative cooler in certain circles.

Pulled in at an angle and apparently they did not care. It was this way all night. Crazy. How can one sleep with the trailer tilting at that angle? Not me. Older couple with several small dogs and they had the CG staff come and connect their water and electric. Click image for larger version

I think it was a GMC Envoy, but still probably not enough TV. The rear end of the TV was way low.

I saw a avalanche with a 30 or 32' tt pull in across from us earlier this summer. Huge squat, no levelers, and a 3" drop hitch. There were chunks of sod on the stabilizers. Plus he couldn't back a trailer. Quite the sight.

Probably capable of the weight (depending on Config) but sounds like he could have used a weight distribution hitch.

I tow my 33' with a 2010 Escalade ESV and had to use a 12" drop shank with my weight distribution hitch due to the location of the hitch receiver. We traveled from Georgia, through the southern US and up to South Dakota and then back through Iowa and Illinois on the way back down. Almost 3000 miles total.

If he had issues hooking up water & septic and parking on the level. I’d guess a weight distribution hitch be way out of the question!!
