Are those fender flares made out of kiddie pools?

Got to give points for ingenuity, but they must be awfully flimsy and flap going down the highway.

The best part of this photo other than the obvious, it that it was taken at a Walmart.

Based on my knowledge of where Cowracer's lives, i am gonna guess it was one of the locals too

Saw someone do this today pulling into Ocean Lakes. I was in the truck and fiver headed to our spot, and was trying to get her attention. She hit a second story deck of someone's beach house.

I hate it for them. Nice couple.

You are correct but it was not a manufacturing defect. Just that it wasn't as long lasting and durable idea originally thought. The roof would sag over time even with no A/C on top. In later models their fix was two metal supports across the ceiling but eventually they just quit using that roof and went to the metal ones.

Things you see in an RV Park

Don't knock it... AC's in the Windows.

Here in Oklahoma.... You have to do what's necessary when your AC goes out!!

These two 5,000 BTU units did well, cheap too at $105 each. I even painted the plywood inside and out. I used sliding bolt latches on the bottom with a overhanging flange on the top to secure it. It's a quick detach so if I ever had to get out in a hurry it can be done.

Best part is, now that my factory AC is repaired, I now have 25,000 BTUs of cooling!!

It's parked permanently at my spot by the lake we go to. I leave the window unit in the main room running and turn the others off and close the rooms off. Set the thermostat (manual) to about 80-85.

Even if the power goes out, it fires right back up once it comes back on because it's a full manual version.

I also ran the power straight to the two outlets at the pole. Therefore there isn't any load on my trailer's electrical system and I eliminated the risk of tripped breakers because of the increased load. (TT is only a 30A system)

Saw this awesome Wanderlodge here at Ocean Lakes. They are just a few sites away, so I'm gonna (hopefully) check it out some more soon.

I have to say that I actually admire the inventiveness, adaptability, and tenacity of the owners of these two campers.
It folks like these that remind me that you don't have to have a $150,000.00 rig to get out and have a good time with your family.

On our way to Goshen. This came rolling into the RV park last night. Tour+bus+hotel, that's a real all-in-one. Operated by by Rotel Tours.

We saw one of those at a campground years ago. Pulled in next too us, and had no idea what it was.
Around 15 or so people exited, and driver started to set it up. Fun to watch.
Huge tent/awning area was pulled out, chairs and tables set up.
Sleeping for everyone inside in the little cubbyholes or bunks.
For meals watched the driver bring out a huge grill, cooking stuff, and food from a large enclosed under body fridge.
Clean up via a large sink that pulled out from body. Hot/cold running water from a 100 gallon water tank.
Still have some pics we took of it. Have to see if I can dig them out.
Grumpy
