There's one just like this next to us here at Cleburne State Park

Edit: meant this as a reply to Oakman post about the Redwood RV

This rigged out truck made it through the Yukon on the AlCan protected against gravel thrown by truckers.

I've seen this.........................

I also built, towed and owned it. Turned a lot of heads and got lots of questions and discussion. Lots of people took pictures of it, wish someone beat me to the punch here for a good laugh. Was all over southeast/ southcentral PA with it. Setup and tear down was a hassle, and the purpose I built it for got old (Jeep on 42's) so I sold it all and bought the Puma Unleashed. Ditched the Jeep in favor of a mountain bike, TH is getting a custom 8 bike rack!

I know I don't have a big boy like these, but my fridge/kitchen is in a slide in my HTT, and my second slide has my dinette and couch. Roo 23Ikss

I don’t know if I’ve posted this photo before but it’s too cute not to post again. Doggie door and porch on a trailer. I took this pic a couple of years ago at Ocean Lakes RV Park in Myrtle Beach.

Setups like this are getting more and more popular here in the South. Couple of years ago we went to Clayton, OK with the jeeps and saw probably the nicest set up I have ever seen. It was what looked like a brand new 28'-30' 5th wheel with the axles stripped, set on top of a triple axle 42' gooseneck hauling a really nice rock crawler! They even had a collapsible alum deck that they had set up! I wish I would have took a picture of it!

Something interesting that I saw on my drive to work this morning made me look twice. It was a pickup truck with a 5th wheel, but on top of the cab of the pickup was a platform with a Smart Car.

I wish I could have snapped a picture of it!

Rig pulled in next to us yesterday. Trying to figure out the ladder - don't know about that first step, but I'm sure the last one requires a parachute.....

Some have an extension piece that gets stored in the basement

I have seen the same thing and thought the same! But, I also figured what OldCoot and iceblaze said- there's gotta be a trick to it. Made me chuckle when I saw it, though.
