There was a rally here. Haven't seen many of this style. Most had GMC on there grills.

Looks like a WonderLodge. These things were built like tanks.

Love my Wildcat 295RSX!
Trailers twist quite a bit and the remaining wall can't possibly keep the wall from cracking at the corners of the slide. Short time fun, long time pain, I think ...

2016 Vintage Trailer Rally - Pismo Coast Village

So nice to see the extraordinary care lavished on these vintage RVs.

I doubt there will be an issue. Carriage engineered and built their frames in house. Look at the brochure. Not light, but strong. 2" box tubing in walls. My entire wall is just under 1-1/2" total and stud wall thickness about the same as a beer can.

I was thinking that this particular RV is at the very least 5 years old (since that's when Carriage went out of business) and it looks pretty good but maybe they don't use it much We just bought a 2011 Carriage Cabo, it doesn't have a full wall slide but it's in fantastic shape, but once again, maybe the previous owners didn't use it much??? I'll find out soon enough

It was a 2010 unit, per the owner.

I couldn't afford one, nor had the TV to haul it. But, they are great units. I have seen 2012s but I think those were bought and finished by someone.

I think Carriage had major environmental issues that helped to bring them down, plus they built them so incredibly well. They came out with your Cabo model just before biting the bullet.

The new Lifestyle Luxury is no where near the quality Carriage was. Its a rebadged Rushmore, but I was thinking Crossroads / Thor bought the brand name.

I met a Walmart long-haul river who had one that was sitting on the line unfinished when they locked the doors... had it finished; a Carri-Lite with that super slide... full body paint... beautiful. I think he ended up with about $110K in it.

Sadly, the picture doesn't convey the full experience of it. There were a lot of flashing lights and quite a bit of sound effects (moaning, screaming, etc...) as well as a motion activiated spider that jumped out when you walked in.
Love it! DH's favorite holiday is Halloween. By the way, I didn't realize you had a Sabre too. Where the heck have I been?

The carriage name was bought by crossroads but they are not what they once were. They are a rebadged rushmore which was also made by crossroads.

The Cabo line was supposed to be their version of entry level and the one we have is the smallest in the line up, the 341, supposedly only three of them in existence. We've taken her out once and so far we are pleased, great bones and beautiful finish. We're about to take a two week road trip with her, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes

Yes, Saint Mary's River. We are at Aune-Osborne RV Park. Too bad a large freighter was not centered under the rainbow.

I guess that one's going around. Someone posted that on ford-truck.com.
Pretty sweet.
