The guy who's owns this says he sets Up like this all the time with no issues

In reality I'd bet it's just as stable if not more than having the jacks fully extended.

You're missing my point. Those scissor jacks @ full extension are loose and wobbly. My comment is a poke at scissor jacks if you will. Also that's not a 2x4 and it appears to be on concrete to boot.

Sorry, but that's my pickup after the tranny went. Tow truck was nice enough to drop the camper at the campground
