A couple of highway shots as we drove from Jacksonville, FL to Foley, AL.

First up, a car carrying a cargo tray and a bunch of bins.

They're well secured to the carrier. But man did it hang low.

Second was a transport driver hauling 3 boats.

A boat is a hole in the water you try to fill with money.

When your RV becomes to small for your growing family it's time to add room additions to the RV.

You throw lots of $$$$ at watercraft, horses, and RVs. As long as our expensive hobbies make us happy we are good

My experience has been that the more fun it is, the higher the percentage loss you incur. Similar to the food rule- the better it tastes the worse it is for you.

I saw two of those being built in Middlebury Indiana a few years ago. They were not legal on the US highways. They built them and with special permits moved them to a shipping port. They were being built for Arabian Sheiks

That one may be photo shopped--hard to think a ton truck could handle that.

Hi,

This fellow at Quartzsite had plenty of solar power -- the decal on the side said 4,800 watts. I suppose the entire floor of the trailer could have been wall to wall batteries.

This might be an example of an RV solar installation that very well could run the A/C.

FWIW.
