We passed one of these on I-80 in Pennsylvania a few days ago. Traffic was bad, didn't have a camera handy, and didn't realize what it was until I was next to it.

Camper few spots down fire pit got away from them almost started place on fire. Fire department called but a bunch of us had gotten it under control. Very scary!! Fortunately nothing but the the leaves and pine needles burnt.

There is a burning ban in North Georgia because of low humidity. I imagine fire pits will be banned from use here also.
