Wow. That's something.

Is it just me or is the top of that trailer thing sprung outward because the boat trailer axle is too wide for it?

It's an optical illusion in the pic. Notice the trailer frame is parallel with the line of the motorhome. Those trailers are purpose built.

A TOAD to make Mad Max proud

This really is their TOAD. I spoke with the owner about it for around 20 minutes. He said when he takes it in for the annual state inspection, the inspector won't even drive it. He has to drive with the inspector riding shotgun.
Note all the receiver hitches. Says he'll hook up grills, tables, umbrellas, whatever, and get a party going back there. What a hoot.
Oh yea, don't miss the sink.

State inspectors drive vehicles???? That's interesting.

Would have be several changes before it could be legal for the road here. Interesting vehicle though.

They drive your vehicle here in NJ. They use to make you get out and walk to the other end of the building but now you sit in the passenger seat while they drive it through.

Depending on how that jalopy is registered it would not make it down the road in NJ. It looks like some kind of high schooler's project woods buggy.

Best I can tell he's got 12 tail lights. And you've gotta love that blower intake that's mounted on the "hood"- never mind that there's no blower and the standard breather/filter can be seen below it. And after rereading- it looks like I did miss the sink- heading back to the pics to find that now...

Holy cow. Just found the sink. And I think that bumper sticker on the windshield says "Get In. Sit Down. Shut Up. Hang On"

Oh, that's just great! Texas plates!

... and, yes... state inspectors drive vehicles here in Texas - to test brakes, etc., - while the vehicle owner sits in a waiting room with 4 year old Ford enthusiast magazines stacked on the coffee table.

Yea, he says people often remark about it having a blower, without even noticing it connected to nothing.
