2 things...
Arkansas did away with their State inspections years ago... only thing that kept people from dying was the improvement in the steering/suspension on autos...

I wonder what he would take for it??? Never mind... I won't have enough

Check out this video on YouTube:

The Rover is a wanna be and the Jeep was for real.

The great machine in these photos was obviously a cool dirt machine. Mad Max style.

I only know I need one....

How do you get those huge spares off if you need to?

It appears it has a pivoting hoist to lower them down. See the arm with the pulley between the tires. Common on most of these rigs.

I can see where these kind of rigs would be useful, but they just look like garbage trucks to me.

Very expensive garbage truck..., way beyond your means probably. An Earth Roamer stats at 3/4 million and most people who own them pay cash. Most have diesel powered appliances, stove. fridge on board diesel generator plus solar ac and every creature comfort and can go just about anywhere off road, on road or make their own road if need be. All are hand built with premium parts one at a time to a customers specification. Not like a cookie cutter FR product and they don't break either. Real wood, not cardboard, all aluminum sides and roof, not rubber, completely climatized inside and out.

Put your order in, I hear it's a year wait for one. Time to bust that piggy bank...

I have one for you. I'm in the process of selling my old TC )Lance) to a guy in Mannheim Germany. He flew over and looked at it. he's a classic car resto guy in Germany and he bought it on the spot. He's flying over here buying a pickup truck, loading the camper on and driving the truck and camper to Baltimore, Meryland where the outfit will be containerized and shipped back to Germany.

Has a thing for Lance truck campers.

He pays in cash too. Asked what I wanted for it, I told him and he peeled off the C notes from a wad big enough to choke an elephant.

Talk about strange twists.

Yep. We have lived in Germany for over 10 years of our lives. Since I flyflish (which is a Very VERY Rich person's sport in Europe) I have rubbed elbows with those types - us regular guys have NO idea - these folks are in the Bill Gates realm of income.

Had a guy in Germany when we were there last (2012) that was going to pay cash for a Newell and tour the USA for a year, then Canada for a year then go back to Germany (FYI a Newell is $2 Million Motorhome)

That black thing on the front drivers side looks like a locking case for a B.A.R. If it is, I sure don't want to mess with him!!!
