We’ve stayed at Mountaindale a couple of times. The last time was during the FROG rally a couple of years ago. I took photos of a black bear on the perimeter of the RV park one morning. The bear was munching on vegetation not more than fifty feet from me. My photos were blurry and I told my friends it was due to a slow shutter speed in the early morning light. In reality my hands were shaking too much to take a sharp photo. Here are a couple of pics I took at Mountaindale. As you can see the photo of the mule deer is much sharper than the one of the black bear.

A bear?! Oh man! I might have to take some early morning walks. That's way cool.

We stayed there a few years back! It was a super unique park. Loved the sites. Got great pics of large mule deer right behind the camper. MB

But he can boondock much further off the beaten path. From my old driving days, my boss was thrilled if his trucks returned 7 mpg.

My current neighbor's use of Lynx Levelers made me chuckle. I can honestly say- I never considered NOT taking them out of the bag.

Maybe he didn't have room to store the bags until he was done with the blocks

I would like others opinion on this setup. I have convinced myself that the rear of the unit is more stable the more vertical the supporting arms are. The way the setup is pictured their is a pivot point or fulcrum near the center of the RV thus allowing more rocking. I may put a pad down, but I never stack anything anymore for the rear stabilizers.
What say you?
