Sorry, but that's my pickup after the tranny went. Tow truck was nice enough to drop the camper at the campground

A couple of weeks ago after a day excursion came back to the campground to find not one but two rigs pulled in the wrong way on both sides of me.

Seems like poor layout design on the campground's part. Most places I've visited are set up so that all the trailers are facing the same way so I can understand why they set up the way they did.

For now, I'm on the mobile home side of the RV park where there are larger spaces and they allow fences.
Since I was going to be stuck here in Las Vegas for a while, I needed a way for my Jack Russells to get out when it was too hot for "walkies".
This is what I came up with (there's stairs inside that ramp).
I could not simply go with an open ramp because these dogs are quite the jumpers!

From seeing that first pic, I realized they are missing a porch. If I end up here more permanently I may have to add one

Add the KOA next to Sam's Town in Las Vegas, NV.

Site was between two other units all ready setup.

Directions from the office said to pull in like so, I looked it over and thought wow they gave me the wrong directions.

So bright me goes in like I thought I should, had to pull out and follow what I was given...

Walking the road around the lake we saw something we've never seen in ove 20 years of camping. A motorhome had his hose stretched out dumping his black tank onto the ground. It was running down across the road and into the lake. Lots of toilet paper and it smelled, it was not gray tank even though that would be bad also. It was an older MH so maybe it only had one tank. We walked up to the office and informed the manager and she gave us a sarcasic "they souldn't be doing that should they?" They absolutely didn't care and this MH continued to dump on the ground all weekend. Here is a picture of the aftermath, there were actual ruts in the ground from their dumping and they would occasionally pick up some of the TP but as you can see, not all. Unbelievable!

Sorry, just had to do it.

It was a gravel parking lot so no direction.
All the pull though sites I've been too have shared pedestals.

Ingenuity at work!

What bothers me most about this though is the campground owner that would allow this.
That is one RV park I don't ever want to visit.

I get that. This unit was right next to us, and I'm glad we were only there for a night. I showed the photo to the manager of the park we're in right now... and he said "not in my park". Thank you, Sir!
