We saw a beauty at Robert Moses SP in NY this weekend.
I meant to stop by and talk to them and get a few more pictures but I didn't get there before they left.

I'm pretty sure he has enough engine for this, but question the sway control.

Cool looking setup. I would not like driving that trike when it is 95+ degrees. It would be like having a furnace between you legs...

I was thinking the exact same thing. We have a big cement ring around our pit and I sometimes have trouble with the airflow in that thing even though it's only a few inches tall.
You'd have to throw a ton of wood into it to get any kind of flame out the top. Plus it would be glowing red hot before too long.

Tub with smokestack
We camp at the beach for months at a time and everyone in our group has one of these and we take turns hosting the fire each night. There are typically 15 to 20 people gathered around. The trick to getting the heat to radiate out the wash tub holes is to get the tub high enough off the ground and to add a smokestack. We get the smokestacks from the citrus growers. Amazingly efficient and the wood really lasts.

X2. Most of our group has these washtub fire pits and we find the heat dispersion is better than fire rings on the ground. Also has great air flow via all the holes. We do have them on stands about 18 inches high.

A friend has this in a hole in his back yard. Weber grate fits perfect on top.

Don't pick on the Prius... It's got a govenor on it (104 mph). It's the driver not the Prius. On the open road I've had mine up to 90 without even realizing it.

We saw this pulling into a nearby RV park - the motorhome was pulling the trailer. We thought it was an interesting concept.

Where do you add wood when needed?
