Things you've had stolen off your trailer(s)?

I had a very good condition 58 Shasta wings and all that I stored across the street to keep an eye on and one day I looked over and 2 kids were on top of it jumping up n down!!!!!!! Called the cops and as we went over it for damage they busted out most of the tail lights and caved in the roof..... I was very pissed!!!! Cops caught the kids and talked to the mother and the cop asked if I'd like to have the parent replace the broken items n I said these are irreplaceable, you can't jus run to any auto store, RV store etc to pick up lenses!!!! I'll jus leave this at I was pissed.... Lol

I would hope the parents settled in an amount that satisfied your anger.

Nothing ever stolen from our camper, but we did have rods/reels stolen from the back of the pickup while parked (without the trailer) in a shopping mall parking lot. Basically, I simply forgot to put them inside the truck before we entered the mall.

Lesson Learned.

We have had a cottage about 2 hours from us in quebec and only thing that was ever stolen was 5gal of gas that my dad left down in the bushes by the dock. He hadnt mixed it yet. Two weeks later I heard that the kid about 5 cottages down siezed his dads brand new boat engine!
Funny thing was my dad had weitten on the jerry can mix 50:1 but he had run out of oil so he forgot to mix the fuel.
