Tips for 2006 Georgetown 359TS

I'm new to the forum and we're looking to purchase this Georgetown to replace our very old coach. I'm in the negotiating stage with the dealer. Any one have any sage advise for us as we consider buying this model?

What I'd really like to know is those of you with this coach, are you happy with it? I'm new to Georgetown and would really like some input on this model. I'm most concerned about maintenance of the three slides. Thanks for your input!

I don't have a 359 but I do have a 370 with 3 slides. Maintanence on the slides. I recommend the spray from Protect-All on the seals. Very easy to apply and works well. Check the hydraulic pump periodically with all slides in and levelers up. Fluid level should be 1 inch from top. We've been very happy with our Georgetown.

Glad to hear your happy with your coach and your dealer. Are you recommending to buy local? I'm finding that they run $10-$12K more here in So. Cal rather than AZ. The one were looking for is in AZ, but we have a great dealer repair shop here in Menifee, CA that we've used to repair our old (1991) Allegro. Just a bit concerned about slides as this is new to us. We camp in the desert and it can blow sand sometimes. Kind of worried about sand getting in the slide mechanics. Is this a really worry? Or am I being paranoid?

We are happy with our GT 340. No problems with the 3 slides. I did get a can of the spray for the seals I intend to apply when it warms up a little more here. When camping in the winter, (down to -22 last year) we keep the slides in to conserve heat. If you have a bad wind storm come up, you could always bring the slides in if you were worried.
