ZeroG Hose, 50' x 1/2" - Teknor Apex 4006-50 - Hoses, Reels & Fittings - Camping World

I just bought two of these 50 ft hoses. I was wanting a 50 ft and a 25 ft. I was at Target of all places and found they had two of them on the shelf for $29.99 each for the 50 ft hoses. I didn't really want the longer hose for normal camp site duties but I have been struggling find the 25 ft for a decent price and not being gouged in shipping. CW has the 25 ft for 29.99 member price and 34.99 regular price. So for the price at Target I will happily deal with the extra footage. I haven't had a chance to use them or play with them as our SOB Cougar is at the dealer for warranty work. Once we have it back I will use and report back on what I think of them.

Second year in a row at the end of our stay of 6 weeks when I unhooked the hose I noticed the water was green. It did not come out the faucets in the RV green. I suppose because of the blue camco filter I put at the inlet.

That's weird cause one year out of four I found my canister filter literally plugged with lime colored slime. Never figured how it got in there?

Good timely topic, I have a Camco 50' that I just noticed has a leak in it.
Read some of the reviews from the link you posted, if it was me I'd find another hose.

X2 - we have had our Camco Premium (linked in previous post in this thread) for a little over 3 years now -- and we have been FT since last July and not one problem or leak - constant 80PSI coming out of the pedestal.

Fresh Water Hose

I put a water/bleach solution in my fresh water hose before I use it for the camping season and cap it off. Let it sit over night and then flush it out! Your good to go for the season!
