Well said... I will follow you on that thought. My 18 footer calls for 13" C rates and I just bought 5 14" D rates. Praying they fit, i've done a lot of research on the Kumho 857's and had some good opinions from fellow members of this forum and well, so i went for it. Photo's and comments will be coming as soon as we stop getting the "out of the blue" blizzard conditions around here.

Oh...I had some C rates on my 86 popup and never blew a tire on it, but was worried about the weight limit. Found some foreign E rates (GreenBall i think they were) and hauled it on a 1200 round trip mission for a honeymoon type of trip through SD, Wyoming, Montana, and back and they were fantastic. During our stops, never had a single tire that was hot to the touch. I love that!!!

Cheers

rthrbelsewhere, if I read your post right, your trailer has 13 inch tires now, and you ordered 14 inch. Hope you ordered new 14 inch wheels also, cause 14 tires won't work on 13 wheels. I am talking about the wheel diameter, 13 inch vs 14 inch.

Oh.... Just realized that i didnt mention the wheels did I?

Sorry about that, yes...i did buy some new 14" aluminum wheels to go with the tires. In fact, i have to go pick them up sometime today. Tires will be in next week. Mount and Balance...maybe some new fancy dancy lug nuts and a trial run.

thank u for the heads up!
