Times Two so far on my trek to Florida.

Was on a "goose crap slick" wet mud road into the Fort Bragg Lake Smith Campground in NC (PS NEVER going back there - lovely campground unless rain occurs plus or minus a week). While my truck and camper were covered in over 500 pounds of red mud and sand, the tires kept me from being part of the landscape until heavy equipment arrived. They got me the two miles to the campground and back out with very little fishtail up and down some SERIOUS slick hills. While I DO NOT have 4x4, I do have a Positraction rear. That baby was working overtime, let me tell you! Oh, there was no safe way to turn around once you started into the access road, so it was "press on or die." They trick ya by paving the first couple of hundred feet.

DESTROYED a car wash trying to clean the truck. The camper took belly damage and still has red cement stuck in places I don't want to talk about.
All that from ONE overnight stay.

Don't mess around, Michellin is the best tire made and they give me almost a 100,000 mile life. Costco carries them and they are frequently on sale for $70 off a set of 4.
