To Cover or Store - That is the Question!

I have a 2017 Rockwood 2503S and am trying to decide whether to store or cover it for the winter. I live in S.W. Michigan so we get a fair amount of snow. I can store it at the local Fairgrounds inside a barn (unheated and dirt floor, but out of the elements) for $10/foot or I can buy a cover for between $300 and $500 and store it at home. Other than accesibility, what are the pros and cons of each and does anybody have a cover recommendation.

Thanks!

Covers usually only last 2-3 years. Can cause damage. Risk of falling off when covering.

We have never had an RV covered in 30 years but if it were me I would store it inside if possible.

We bought a cover for our 38 ft 5er two years ago, used it one year, and did not bother with it last year. It sits in the back yard uncovered, probably going to sell the cover cheap.

As I posted else where on this forum today last year was the first time I covered my motor home during storage outside. It was the first time I had mice inside the RV to the degree they even ate a scented candle and a clean basting brush. Moreover what sealed the deal on never covering again is they even got into both AC units duct work and apparently ate the Styrofoam insulation. It "snowed" in the rig when I tested out the units during Spring set up. Put in inside if you have the money to do so.

Just put her to sleep in your yard uncovered. Cover tires that will be exposed to the sun. She'll be fine. Only trouble is that you are going to have to look at it all winter.
