TOAD set up cost

I do have a tow vehicle now. I think sooner or later(probably sooner), I have to get another one. Wondering how much I can expect to spend to get the car tow capable. Pls post your experience of having it done and approx cost if you like to share with forum. Definitely going to flat tow. Thanks in advance

Tow plate, wiring, labor & etc for my toad (2004 Jeep Liberty) cost $750 5 yrs ago.

Tow plate included tow bar (front of car).

Braking system cost $900.

Got it done at CW. Dealer wanted considerable more for the installation, parts.

$3,500 for setting up my Honda CRV, getting the Blue Ox tow bar and the Blue Ox Patriot brake system. Tried a $1,500 dolly and didn't like it so sold it and went with the flat towing. After just my first short trip flat towing I think that is the only way to go for me.
