Do you think he will see his shadow and bring us 6 more weeks of Winter?

I can guarantee at least 6 more weeks in MN regardless of the shadow thing!

Spring has already sprung here in Washington. 2nd warmest January on record. Sun is out today and we are ready to get going. Already have trips planned for April and May but I need to get out before then...

Forecast here is 1"-3" of the white stuff over night and possibly more on Friday into Saturday.

It's all that Ground Hog's fault. Can't he just sleep in one year?

Well crapola, the weather forecast just upped our possible accumulation from 3 to 6" for later today. Yesterday, they said an inch was possible. And another big 1 is supposed to hit this weekend again. And some of the back-roads are still slick from the last storm......no school in the area yesterday or today. The kids might get out for summer vacation by the 4th of July.

Lastest update now calling for 4"-6" here tonight. This coming weekend's storm could be a real big problem. Hopefully that changes to a better forecast. Damn Groundhog!!!!

We didn't have any shadows here today either because of the freezing rain that is falling and probably won't have any this weekend due to the next snowstorm scheduled to come in. Damn global warming.

Just returned Sunday from camping at the Battle at Townsend's Plantation in Mt. Dora, Florida. Rain and 70 deg. sat, cloudy, breezy, and colder 57 deg. at battle time 2 pm.
Going to the battle of Olustee in Lake City, Fl. in 2 weeks! I am a Confederate Civil war reenactor, as well as my 2 sons. Wife dresses in period correct attire, and attends ladie's tea, and we both attend Sat. nite's ball. Yall come see these battles! We camp modern, but totally self contained (open field!)
