Question Toilet Paper

Someone Was Nice Enough To Take The Time
To Explain To Me That I Didnt Have To Spend 4x The
Money On "special" Tp For The Tt.
Just Curious As To How Many People Actually Buy
The "special Stuff" Or How Many Buy Regular
Septic Safe Tp?

youd be surprised.

i knew of a person that put all his toilet paper in a bag next to the potty, because a salesmen told him the holding tank was not for toilet paper.

glad it worked out for you.

I was told to take the TP in doubt and put a piece of it in a jar 3/4 full of water, put on the lid, and shake it. If it starts coming apart, it would be OK for the black tank. If it stays together like a paper towel would do, don't use it.

Does this sound correct?

Call me a wimp, but I buy the "special stuff." The black tank is the last thing I want to have a problem with and I simply don't want to take any chances so I spend a little extra money.

We use the two ply store brands and not had any problems.

I am "anal" about cleaning the tanks though.

I used SCOTT single ply for many years.
Now...I don't give a crap. (get it)
I don't have a black tank, so my flushes go right down the sewer pipe.

Mind you, without a black tank, you could get away with printer paper. Not that I'd recommend it.
