Toilet paper

What kind of toilet paper does everyone use? I have been using the special stuff in the RV section at Walmart and I'm sure we all know it's not the greatest. But I have heard of people using regular toilet paper. I see on a popular brand of toilet paper we use at home that it says septic safe and won't clog. What's everyone think?

There was thread on this last year with people who tested different brands, by putting some in a glass with the chemical to see which ones would break down the fastest. Don't remember the results, but we buy the 2 ply septic tank safe no problems you can get it all over, CW, Walmart RV centers. Cost about twice as much unless on sale but it's your rear. ( just a joke)

toilet paper

2 ply, septic safe from Walmart RV section. Never had a plugging issue. BE SURE to add ample water into holding tank after doing a complete black tank rinse. ( I rinse this frequently, like every 2nd full tank). Trying to keep those sensors free of debris.

Just put the used paper in a bathroom garbage can. Empty it regularly. No problems...use whatever kind is nice to your fanny.

and don't forget using up ice cubes just as you leave the campground so they will knock off the sludge on the sensors as you drive away.

We use what ever we use at home, no issues at home or in the camper. We buy it in the TP section at the grocery store. We use several different brands which ever is on sale. We are on a septic tank at home.

We use whatever we use at home. No issues. We use plenty of water when using the toilet and mostly just #1 unless the campground has nasty restrooms.

Use cheap 2 ply. Save your cash and don't buy "RV" terlet paper. A total waste of money. Use enough water that is the key. Over 10 years of RV'ing and we've never had a single issue. Those that don't flush the paper, I just don't get it, nasty. To each their own though.

Your correct the water is the key, but people are afraid to dump to often. I tell my wife to hold that petal down for a good flush. Yes is is Nasty as you say. Never seen a smell proof can yet. But I know a lot of people do it to each it's own as I say and I also know people who will not even use there toilet.... did you mean issue or tissue..........

I use 2-ply whatever brand that's rated for septic systems and haven't had a problem. I loved John Wayne, but not his paper

Anything septic safe. Consumer Reports actually rates them including break down.

There is a great YouTube demonstration by a father & his little son he called "baby" he did a great job demonstrating 4 brands one was strictly for RV's - and "Charmin ultra soft" was the winner of all four - he actually did the demo w/water & Mason jars it totally broke down the best. You may be able to find the demo google toilet paper demonstration for RV's father & son YouTube I found it by googling a few things wanted to show my daughters law how cute the little boy was.

I've used Charmin for years in all the campers I had with no problems. Now I have a Tecma toilet that just grinds it up before it hits the tank so that's better yet. Sure is noisy though.
